C.G. Farmer

After earning a bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Idaho, Dr. Farmer worked as an engineer before returning to complete a Ph.D. from the Department of Physiology, Pharmacology, and Biotechnology at Brown University. An Individual National Service Award from the National Institute of Health enabled postdoctoral work to be carried out in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of California, Irvine. A National Science Foundation Advance award allowed Dr. Farmer to launch an independent research program at the University of Utah.
